Schibley Chemical Company, an independent chemical raw materials distributor, has been servicing the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics, Coatings, Lubricants, Adhesives, and Household & Institutional Industries for over 80 years.
The Schibley Chemical complex sits on a seven-acre site which encompasses four buildings to store raw materials from their current principals: Akzo Surface Chemistry, BASF, Rhodia, Vantage Oleochemicals, Chattem Chemicals, OCV Technical Fabrics, Hexion, Arkema, and Magnum Venus Plastech.
This four-building complex is designed to store refrigerated and ambient temperature chemical raw materials from -20 to 70 degrees Farenheit.
The areas currently served by Schibley Chemicals are Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. These areas are being expanded to serve New York, Illinois, Tennessee, and West Virginia with our own refrigerated trucking and warehousing capabilities.
